✦ OUR VISION
Connecting independent clinicians across Australia
Path Connect was created to help clinicians feel more connected and continue learning while navigating the realities of independent practice.

Our story
Running your own allied health practice can offer flexibility and the opportunity to build something of your own. It also comes with responsibility, uncertainty and a lot to manage. We know because we have lived it.
Path Connect grew from our own family’s experience. When my husband Rob, a physiotherapist, started Path Allied Health, I saw how much work goes into building a practice while continuing to support clients.
Our dinner table conversations quickly shifted to referrals, recruitment, capacity, cash flow and whether the business was ready to grow. Rob was managing a full clinical caseload while trying to build the business around it, and with two young children creating a thriving allied health business became the number one goal.
With my background in marketing, CRM and customer experience, I became more involved. Together, we strengthened our referral relationships, improved the client experience and introduced systems that supported sustainable growth. Within twelve months, we had built a successful local allied health practice and welcomed ten clinicians into the business.
As I began speaking with other independent clinicians and small providers, I realised burnout was common. People were carrying too much alone, and many were building their businesses in silos without a community around them.
That is why I created Path Connect: a free community where independent allied health clinicians and small providers can connect, learn from one another and feel less alone while building something of their own.
It is also why we created Smart Path, our eight-week business growth program. For our first cohort, I’m joined by Trystan Conway, who scaled an allied health business to approximately 300 clinicians and $15 million in annual revenue. Smart Path helps allied health business owners strengthen their referrals, systems, financial management, leadership and growth planning so they can build sustainable businesses through NDIS reform, in private practice and across other funding schemes.
Path Connect is grounded in something simple: independence should not mean doing everything alone.
✦ the challenge
The reality of solo practice
As the community has grown, one thing has become clear. Many clinicians have strong caseloads, but still feel uncertain navigating business ownership and growth.
Isolation in decision making
Burnout from administrative load
Lack of business-specific training

✦ introducing smart path
Sustainable growth for
small providers
That’s what led to the development of Smart Path, an 8-week cohort program designed to help independent clinicians and small providers build more sustainable and profitable businesses with clearer direction, stronger systems, and greater confidence in the decisions they make.
